About / WE'RE A "SMALL" COMPANY WITH A BIG SPECIALIZATION.
We are an Italian company specializing in a very particular sector: satin finishing and chemical etching of flat glass, which we’ve been selling under the Madras® brand since 1968. It’s safe to say we have unique experience in this field, anywhere in the world.
Our production facilities are all on the same site in Italy, in the heart of the country’s most industrialized and productive region, Lombardia. Here we transform around 350,000 m2 of float glass a year into prestige materials for Architecture and Design. In fact, the constant technical progress the Company has made in over 50 years dedicated exclusively to this particular business enables us to offer a highly diversified range of products that are not only decorative but also highly functional for applications requiring certified performance.

The value of our glass also lies in its eco-compatibility. Well aware of the vital importance of environmental protection, we have gradually developed exclusive know-how in his area and have an advanced technology plant for treating the process residues that chemical etching involves. We are therefore fully compliant with the provisions of Italian and European environmental legislation.
